“Wow, that is a lot. Well done, Hayden. You’d make a great businessman I’d say. Hmh, okay, my mother left some money for my studies but I can use some of it to get some of the most important stuff. And if you do that donation box the same way you conjured all this, we might get the money for everything needed. Rylan also talked about asking his job to advertise the shelter.”
“I’ll fix a donation box, and I am not surprised they would. They know the shelter is important to him, and although he doesn’t realize it, they are very dependent on him as he is from what I read in other magazines a very in-demand model, who only models for them.”
He looks at River the words businessman lingering in the back of his mind.
“I enjoyed doing this, so if you need more stuff like it, just tell me.”
“I will. Thanks for your help, Hayden. Lifesaver right there.”
River looks over as he notices Rylan and Vy walking by giving a quick wink to Rylan as he and Vy slip into the kitchen to start on their dinner. Vy walking next to Rylan, smiling at Hayden, happy to see him talking with River and working on the shelter.
“He is so happy. When you called asking for Shelter material, you should have seen the way he lightened up.”
“Well I admit, I was hoping he would enjoy doing it, and it would be something he could do.. wouldn’t it? This type of thing?”
He smiles at Rylan, fidgeting with fingers.
“And yes! We can do vegetable and fish lasagna, the taste is softer so it might not bother River too much.”
He smiled at Vy, seeing him happy as well, and he was hoping that there was some way they could find to make him do this thing for the shelter if he wanted but he was pretty sure that idea needed to come from Vy, or perhaps his own mind.
“I’ll just ask, in case he hates fish.”
He chuckles, turning towards the living room.
“Hey River.. is fish lasagna okay?”
River looks Rylan arching an eyebrow.
“Fish lasagna? Is there such a thing?”
“It’s actually vegetable one but I like to add fish.”
Vy walks up to Rylan and smiles at River
“Well, it’s okay with me.”
“Sneakily making us all eat vegetables huh?
Rylan shakes his head, still not the biggest fan, but trying to learn to like it, either way, turning back to the kitchen, and the work ahead.
“Well then, fish lasagna it is, so you better tell me what to do master chef Vy.”
Rylan smiles, getting some of the things he knows they always use like knives, cutting boards, pan and of course the casserole to make it in. Hayden leaning back on the sofa as Vy joins Rylan in the kitchen.
