“Hmh…”
Hayle looked at Felix who had been looking somewhat off as he would call it, but he wasn’t quite sure what to do about it.
“You have to take him too the vet Hayle.”
“Me?”
“Yeah, I am kinda unable to do that right now.”
Chris pointed at his tail, which of course was a valid point, but it still oddly made Hayle a bit nervous. It had always been Chris who had taken Felix to the vet when he had been sick before.
“Don’t worry, he is in their list, and both are names are as owners, just sign him in and they will come check him out and help him.”
“Okay..”
Chris watched the two leave, hoping they would both be okay.
“Okay.. signed in.. and then we wait.”
It was clear to him that Felix was more comfortable here than he was. Felix wandering around a a bit, before looking up at Hayle for him to lift him up on his lap.
“Felix?”
A young lady looked at them, Hayle nodding, carrying Felix into the room she showed them.
“So you are Chris’s husband?”
“Yes…”
“First time to the vet?”
“Eh.. yes, is it that obvious?”
“Kinda, you looked a little scared. Don’t worry though, we’ll get Felix feeling better in no time.”
He watched as she did her checkup, before she finally turned towards him again.
“I am just going to give him some medicine which will make him feel better, and then I will get you some tablets he needs to take for a week. After that, he will be all good again.”
“Okay.”
As soon as the shot was administered, Felix walked over to Hayle who gave him a comforting pet, before picking him up.
“So, he needs these two times a day for a week, and then he should be fine. If not, just bring him back.”
“Mrow”
“Yeah, you be good Felix.”
She smiled and gav Felix a pet, handing Hayle the bottle of medicine before sending them on their way home.
“I really need to figure out how to change forms.. this is anoying.”
He didn’t really like being stuck like this, mostly because he missed walking around the house, but also because he hated having to wait for Hayle and Felix to come back.
