If he
thought it had been busy with two toddlers in the house, he had really under
estimated them as children. Not only were Rylan all over the place, but both
had more questions about everything and anything than he had answers for. On
top off that, they had decided to let them go to school, but the homework he
had not been prepared for at all.  He had
been so busy trying to learn enough to be able to help them, he had almost
forgotten he was supposed to go home to do some work.

“Hmh… maybe
I got the time wrong.”

He looked
around, as neither of them were there, he picked the book he had brought with
him back up, sitting down on a sofa to wait. After a while though, he simply
stopped reading and closed his eyes, falling asleep with his head swirling with
all kinds of information.

“Your joking.”

Kagutsuchi
sighed looking at the one sleeping on the small sofa, walking a bit closer,
kicking the side off it to wake the sleeping one up.

“Did you
forget yourself today?”

Hayle just
looked at him for a bit, clearly not getting what he was hinting at.

“No. I was
just reading this book while waiting for you two.”
“So you coming to work with a children’s book and your human form… and I
suppose that is one of your husband’s sweaters is a thing now?”
“Ehm….”

He could
hear a chuckle from the side, telling him she was like always finding stuff
like this funny.

“I’m going
to blame this thing from the book.  It’s
called parenting fatigue.”
“Seriously?”
“Yes?”
“You are a god, and you can’t handle two little kids.”
“You think you could do better?”
“Of course I could, I managed you and I am sure you were way worse than these
two little kids.”
“Okay, fine, I’ll take them with me next time.”

He tried
reading his brothers face, but it was like it always was.

“Good, now
could we get to work.”
“Sure, just let me change.”

He quickly
teleported home, grabbing his own clothing before heading back, the three off
them finishing up their work in no time.

“Will you
really bring them next time?”
“Yes, unless you mind? They have been wanting to meet you both.”
“Ah, they have?”
“Yes, I have told them about you after all.”
“Okay, ehm, do we need to do something special?”
“Not really, this place should have all a kid would like.”

He had
thought about bringing his kids with him before, but he and Chris had decided
to wait until they were children. And honestly he couldn’t wait to see how his
brother handled two little kids, although it also worried him at the same time.
